XYRON® G701V is a flame retardant 10% glass fibre reinforced moulding grade of modified PPE (a Polyphenylene Ether and High Impact Polystyrene blend) which combines UL94 V-1 flame retardancy, high rigidity and heat resistance with low moisture absorption, good mouldability and an excellent dimensional stability under thermal loading. Typical applications include structural components such as automotive instrument panel substrates and business machine chassis.

XYRON® VM502 is an acoustic damping grade of modified PPE (a Polyphenylene Ether and High Impact Polystyrene blend) it is 20% glass fibre and mineral reinforced to offer an exceptional balance of product flame retardancy, rigidity and strength, creep resistance, electrical insulation, low moisture absorption, high heat resistance, dimensional stability, mouldability, low product density and improved acoustic properties. Typical applications include housings for business machines and other appliances where combination of the above proprieties and low noise attenuation is desired.
