ASTALAC™ ABS 2041 is a general extrusion packaging grade developed for fast cycle thermoforming processing. It has an excellent balance of rigidity and impact strength and offers high stress crack resistance to a wide range of food stuffs. It is suitable for use in margarine tubs and lids.

ASTALAC ABS FBK-M

ASTALAC™ FBK-M is a structural foam flame retardant grade of ABS which meets the stringent AS/NZS 60695.2.12 (IEC 60695-2-12) Glow Wire flammability test and offers a “high strength to weight ratio”. The physical properties depend greatly on the density reduction achieved during moulding. Typical applications include very thick components requiring flame retardancy such as computer casings and low volume production automotive wheel arch fairings. Due to the foaming process, the component surface appearance will be slightly compromised. Consequently, many applications are painted.

ASTALAC ABS JP

ASTALAC™ MDA207 is an ABS grade that is specially formulated for preparation of ABS glue with solvants. Typical applications include preparation of ABS/MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) solvant cement for ABS pipe applications at ratio of 356 gram MDA207 per litre MEK. The solvent cement so prepared should have a stable Brookfield viscosity between 600cps (0.6PaS) and 1900cps (1.9PaS) as specified in Australian Standard AS3691.
