Marplex polymer compounds in local automotive applications include the use of high strength Astaloy™ ABS/PC alloy in the Holden SS side air vents. Numerous interior and exterior Ford Territory components include: Ultra high flow Astalac™ABS for rocker skirts and scratch resistant Astaprop™ modified polypropylene for seating trim.
Plating grade Astalac™ ABS enhances the speaker grille and door grab handle while low gloss Astalac™ ABS is used for the seat adjustor hand wheels. Tough Ultramid® nylon 6 forms the Ezy seat release assembly and the door handle escutcheon.
High heat Astalac™ ABS is needed for the unseen door trim upper, Iupilon® polycarbonate for the courtesy light lens, while plating grade Astaloy™ ABS/PC alloy completes the interior door paddle assembly.
